Bat Boy

A musical

Presented at the New College Theatre, Cambridge, MA

The one instance in which they find themselves uncomfortably close is hardly enough to foreshadow the extent to which Shelley’s feelings for Edgar grow; these are eventually manifested in a scene that [...] pays tribute to the skills of choreographer Rick Kuperman.
— Beryl C.D. Lipton, The Harvard Crimson

Monster or man? This is the question at the heart of Bat Boy: The Musical, the exciting story of the tabloid sensation, Bat Boy. Ripped from his cave and thrust into the spotlight, Bat Boy must decide whether to pursue his dreams of a civilized life or to give in to his animal thirst for blood. The largest student-directed musical at Harvard this Fall, Bat Boy also marks the return to Harvard of Broadway composer/lyricist Larry O'Keefe '91, who will work with students to bring his vision to life in his alma mater's premiere musical theater venue, the New College Theatre.
